Avalon is an excellent place to base yourself whatever your interests might be. There is so much to see and do in the area including stunning castles, historic places of interest, a choice of superb golf courses, fishing, walking or cycling through some of the best natural scenery in the world, skiing at two of Scotland’s main slopes and an exciting calendar full of special events such as Highland Games and Military Tattoo.
For those of you who are partial to retail therapy Inverness City Centre has a wide range from small souvenir shops to the large retail chain shops and of course the Eastgate Shopping Centre.
